A Million reasons why IMS is always delivering

Today, IMS achieved a remarkable milestone having successfully completed over one million nautical miles of ship delivery; equivalent to over 46 circumnavigations! It was the 225 metre Algoma Intrepid that took the line honours as it crossed the Atlantic, bound for its new home on the Great Lakes.

It took nearly thirty years to complete the first half-million miles in 2016. The speed of recent growth that has seen the next half-million completed in just over four years is testament to the unwavering commitment of the team, both present and past. Thousands of crews have delivered more than 300 vessels over this period and we wish to take the opportunity to acknowledge their contribution to the Company’s success.

Supported by an extensive network of partners and suppliers, the IMS crew and shore-based operational team continue to work around the clock providing the bespoke crewing and ship delivery solutions for our customers.

Over 35 years, IMS has grown from being a small WA based delivery company to a global supplier of specialised ship management services. In addition to traditional ship delivery operations, IMS has become renowned for its ship management services of high-speed ferries, and for the conduct of sea trials. Well-known for the high-quality professionalism of all its people, IMS is very widely respected among the world’s maritime industries.

Now as a team we will work towards the next million nautical miles with confidence and enthusiasm.
